The final product is yours to take home. Each class will be 2 hours in an open Q&A forum.

Day #1 - Saturday 9-11am
· Introduction to The World of Epoxy
· (FIRST) Safety & PPE: working with wood / tools / epoxy
· Create your piece with the end in mind: Who's it for, Colors, Shapes and Design
· Wood Types; dryness, quality, hardwood vs softwood and why kiln dry is important
· Wood Prep; Plane & Surface, Debark
. To seal or not to seal your live edges prior to pouring
· Epoxy Types: Deep Pour, Flood Coat, Quick Set, CA Glue - Differences
· How to Calculate the correct amount: Simple L x W x H volume calculation
· How to Properly Mix Epoxy
· Color Types: Mica Pigments vs Dyes? Adding your colors into your epoxy.
· Using the proper form for your project
· Pouring in the epoxy into your form - (This part is exciting and Video recording are welcomed)
Day #2 - Next Saturday 9-11am
· (FIRST) Safety & PPE
· Demold piece from the form and keeping safety in mind with sharp edges from epoxy
· Initial sizing: What tools can you use? CNC / Planing / Drum Sanding / belt sander?
· How to properly sand
· How to properly Shape using. What are Templates,
Router Tables, Hand Routing
· The details Small touch ups: CA Glue and Epoxy fixes
· How to properly finish
